Popov Viktor was born in 1948 in Russia and
finished an Art school when he was eighteen.
He had long been working as a teacher of drawing.
He is a participant of All-Union, local
and foreign exhibitions a staunch follower of
the Russian realistic school of painting,
an expert in history and ethnography.
Skilfully using colour, tones and shades he
makes his compositions true-to-life and expressive.
Many of his works are in private collections in Russia,
China, France, Germany. His Art as he thinks is aimed
at historical events and Still-life.
